Romi Studio is an art space dedicated to presenting multidisciplinary artists, with a focus on showcasing the best of Latin American contemporary art. We work alongside artists to promote the artistic & cultural exchange between them and the rest of the world. Although Latin America has plenty of talented artists in and outside of the continent, artists are spread across the globe and do not have sufficient infrastructure available through museums, galleries, or institutions to nurture their talent. Romi Studio partners with artists at a critical point in their careers to assist them in building professional toolkits, managing inventory, curating online and offline experimental exhibitions, and driving more visibility and connections to collectors.

Romina "Aurora" Jiménez Álvarez was born in Santiago, Chile and raised in the metropolitan area of Washington D.C. In 2014, she moved to New York City to attend and graduate from Barnard College of Columbia University. In 2020, she moved to Paris to continue her academic studies at the Louvre. After completing her studies, she had several other stints abroad in Santiago, Mexico City, Oslo, Rome, and Berlin the following two years. Her experiences abroad, coupled with working professionally in blue-chip galleries, and currently, for an art advisor with more than 30 years of experience in NYC, has allowed her to foster relationships with rising to established artists, galleries, and institutions. Based in NYC, she has access to one of the largest art markets in the world. She utilizes tried, true, and new methods to champion Latin American artists and has an interdisciplinary approach to building community and awareness. Today, Romina Jiménez Álvarez is quickly growing her artist and collector-base network, planning innovative exhibitions and has a by appointment only viewing salon in Brooklyn, New York.
